Coming Soon 2024 Christmas Stocking

Stockings started it all.  We attended the first Rocket City Highland Games and met Emily Wallace, founder of Emily Wallace Handwoven Designs.  She took the original Christmas Stocking my grandmother made for me and created additional ones for my wife and children.  Shortly after I decided to start knitting myself, and 12 months later I am now releasing my first Christmas Stocking.

This stocking was inspired by the cool blue’s found on blankets of snow as the stars fade and snowflakes drop early in the morning forest surrounded by Douglas Fir trees.  Selecting one and bringing it home, decorating it with lights, and adorning it with ornaments old and new as children sing Christmas carols. 

This pattern will be released in two parts.  The first part is the stocking and the second part will be the foot and heel.  You will be notified when the new file is uploaded.
